Ruimtevaartbedrijf SpaceX is 44 miljard dollar waard

Virgin Galactic Tweet Hints Cabin Reveal from Space.
$60 Price Target.
Large $30 July 31st option call buying.
This is going to be a very exciting week for Virgin Galactic (NYSE:SPCE) and its investors who are anticipating the July 28th Cabin reveal. Virgin Galactic tweeted on Sunday July 26th 2020 a tweet with a video of the outside of Virgin Galactic's space cabin in space.
"Here’s the view of Earth from the outside of our SpaceShipTwo Unity. Are you ready to see what the view will be like from the inside? Set a reminder to tune into the reveal of our spaceship cabin interior this Tuesday".
I honestly think Virgin Galactic just gave investors a huge hint the cabin reveal could be from space, regardless from space or not I bet the stock price will surge this week and continue to move higher in a staircase type pattern until a new 52 week high is achieved. Do not be fooled into selling by the bears negative comments. Virgin Galactic float has a very high short percentage of around 70% thus a major squeeze will rocket this price higher.
Sir Richard Branson is likely to be at Spaceport America for the reveal and it is rumored that Virgin Galactic may send Branson into space this week. Sir Richard posted a hint on his Linkedln feed on
July 23rd with this photo. Sir Richard wrote " Came across this old photo of me kissing Joan and the kids goodbye before going off on a ballooning adventure. My family is everything to me – they’ve seen all the ups, downs and the bumps in between". This could be a clever hint and definitely one to consider given Sir Richard's personalty.
$60 PRICE TARGET:
Well respected analyst Adam Jonas of Morgan Stanley has a $60 bull case price target on Virgin Galactic. I believe investors will see the stock price hit that target this year.
Jonas noted that his outlook implied an additional climb and that a "significant increase" in investor interest could drive the stock higher in its first year of public trading.
Earlier this year the investment bank said it had noticed "a materially greater frequency" of investors who "understand the pitch" and want to learn more about the company's position in the space-travel industry. The analysts "are having more conversations on SPCE" than any other US stock they cover, "with the possible exception of Tesla," they wrote earlier this year.
Virgin Galactic also stands to profit from investors' "greater appreciation" of hyper-sonic travel and the company's opportunity in the industry, Morgan Stanley said. The bank initiated coverage on Virgin Galactic shares on December 9, saying that the company's greater investment opportunity came from an expansion into hyper-sonic travel. The rapid point-to-point service could drive as much as $800 billion in annual sales by 2040, according to Morgan Stanley.
CNBC’s Jim Cramer is also now bullish on Virgin Galactic, now saying the odds are good of SPCE becoming a $50 stock.
CNBC analyst Steve Grasso reiterated his long position on July 23rd. Earlier in July, on Monday the 6th, Steve Grasso established his bull case on Virgin Galactic, saying it could go straight to the moon. He also noted Virgin Galactic has a large short interest, with 67% of the float held short. Grasso noted any ETF that covers the space sector must own Virgin Galactic, which will result in a forced sense of buying.
On June 30, 2020 Vertical research analyst placed a $29 Price Target on Virgin Galactic.
Research Partners Darryl Genovesi reiterated his buy rating, as a call he had with Chief Executive George Whitesides supported his bullish conviction on the space vehicle maker. Genovesi kept his stock price target at $29, which is 89% above current levels. "We are incrementally positive on the [Virgin Galactic] story post our call, which focused on recent Space Act agreement with NASA and what sounds like good progress toward commercialization at the core suborbital space tourism business, even in this unprecedented environment," Genovesi wrote in a note to clients. "We continue to view Virgin Galactic as thematically attractive as it is the only means by which a public equity investor may gain pure-play exposure to human spaceflight or ANY exposure to space tourism while Virgin's financial targets are also very attractive if achievable and recent progress helps bolster our confidence in its ability to deliver."
Large volume in $30 July 31st Option Call buying:
Also of note is a significant buy on the $30 July calls expiring on July 31st; a buyer committed $345,000, buying almost 5,000 calls.
On July 15th, Virgin Galactic appointed Michael Colglazier as chief executive officer and reassigned George Whitesides to Chief Space Officer. Colglazier brings more than three decades of experience developing and growing consumer-orientated multi-billion-dollar businesses, including at The Walt Disney Company (DIS). Meanwhile, Whitesides will focus on developing future business opportunities, including point-to-point hypersonic travel and orbital space travel, and chair the company's Space Advisory Board.
On July 22nd, Colglazier was granted 500,000 options with an exercise price of $22.98. With the SPCE stock price already exceeding the $25 mark, Colglazier is up $1 million on them. It is in his best interest to make sure the stock stays above $23; otherwise, he can't cash them in.
Given the above I believe Virgin Galactic will be one of those investments that will pay off hugely. If you aren't sure about buying the stock then consider buying half your position. Those that wait might very well regret they did. Be part of the future by owning a part of Virgin Galactic.
As previously mentioned, the Company will also be announcing plans to bring immersive experiences of Virgin Galactic’s spaceflight and cabin interior to aspiring astronauts around the world
For $250,000 a ticket, passengers who have signed up for the suborbital flight aboard the air-launched plane VSS Unity will strap into six tailored, teal-colored seats and can peer out of the cabin's 12 circular windows as they ascend some 60 miles (97 km) above Earth. The plane has five other windows up front.
"We have amazing seats that will be tailored to each person, and that move during the flight to maximize people's comfort," Virgin Galactic Chief Space Officer George Whitesides told Reuters, adding that passengers can unbuckle themselves at peak altitude to float around the cabin in zero-gravity conditions.
The company has 600 customers signed up to fly and more than 400 more who have expressed interest, Whitesides said. The company has not set a firm date for its first commercial space flight, with its British founder Branson expected to be aboard.
The cabin, revealed in a virtual-reality headset the company provided to journalists, also features a large, circular mirror in the back "to allow our customers to see themselves in space in a way that has really never been done before," Whitesides said.
The plane, attached to a bigger carrier plane, is intended to take off from the company's New Mexico spaceport and detach mid-air to launch further toward the edge of space in a trip lasting 90 minutes.
Virgin Galactic went public in October after merging with Social Capital Hedosophia, the special-purpose acquisition vehicle run by early Facebook Inc executive and venture capitalist Chamath Palihapitiya.
De lanceringsbasis is gelegen in New Mexico.

Virgin Galactic Unveils Mach 3 Aircraft Design for High Speed Travel, and Signs Memorandum of Understanding with Rolls-Royce
Company Announces Completion of Mission Concept Review Program Milestone
Virgin Galactic Holdings, Inc. (NYSE: SPCE) ("Virgin Galactic"), a vertically integrated aerospace and space travel company, which includes its manufacturer of advanced air and space vehicles, The Spaceship Company ("TSC"), announced today the first stage design scope for the build of its high speed aircraft design, and the signing of a non-binding Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Rolls-Royce to collaborate in designing and developing engine propulsion technology for high speed commercial aircraft. This follows the successful completion of its Mission Concept Review ("MCR") program milestone and authorization from the Federal Aviation Administration’s ("FAA") Center for Emerging Concepts and Innovation to work with Virgin Galactic to outline a certification framework. This marks an exciting step forward in Virgin Galactic’s development of a new generation of high speed aircraft, in partnership with industry and government leaders, with a focus on customer experience and environmental sustainability.
Rolls-Royce is a leader in the cutting-edge technologies that deliver clean, safe and competitive solutions to the planet’s vital power needs. Rolls-Royce has a proven record of delivering high Mach propulsion, powering the only civil-certified commercial aircraft (Concorde) capable of supersonic flight.
George Whitesides, Chief Space Officer, Virgin Galactic said, "We are excited to complete the Mission Concept Review and unveil this initial design concept of a high speed aircraft, which we envision as blending safe and reliable commercial travel with an unrivalled customer experience. We are pleased to collaborate with the innovative team at Rolls-Royce as we strive to develop sustainable, cutting-edge propulsion systems for the aircraft, and we are pleased to be working with the FAA to ensure our designs can make a practical impact from the start. We have made great progress so far, and we look forward to opening up a new frontier in high speed travel."
"We are excited to partner with Virgin Galactic and TSC to explore the future of sustainable high speed flight," said Rolls-Royce North America Chairman & CEO Tom Bell. "Rolls-Royce brings a unique history in high speed propulsion, going back to the Concorde, and offers world-class technical capabilities to develop and field the advanced propulsion systems needed to power commercially available high-Mach travel."
The Mission Concept Review, which included representatives from NASA, is an important program milestone at which the Virgin Galactic high speed team confirmed that, based on the research and analysis work completed, its design concept can meet the high-level requirements and objectives of the mission. Previously, NASA signed a Space Act Agreement with Virgin Galactic to collaborate on high speed technologies.
The basic parameters of the initial high speed aircraft design include a targeted Mach 3 certified delta-wing aircraft that would have capacity for 9 to 19 people at an altitude above 60,000 feet and would also be able to incorporate custom cabin layouts to address customer needs, including Business or First Class seating arrangements. The aircraft design also aims to help lead the way toward use of state-of-the-art sustainable aviation fuel. Baselining sustainable technologies and techniques into the aircraft design early on is expected to also act as a catalyst to adoption in the rest of the aviation community.
The MCR concluded that the team can progress to the next phase of design, consisting of defining specific system architectures and configurations, and determining which materials to use in the design and manufacturing of the aircraft. The team will also work to address key challenges in thermal management, maintenance, noise, emissions, and economics that routine high speed commercial flights would entail.
The design philosophy of the aircraft is geared around making high speed travel practical, sustainable, safe, and reliable, while making customer experience a top priority. Virgin Galactic is designing the aircraft for a range of operational scenarios, including service for passengers on long-distance commercial aviation routes. The aircraft would take off and land like any other passenger aircraft and be expected to integrate into existing airport infrastructure and international airspace around the world.
Virgin Galactic is working closely with international regulatory communities to ensure compliance with safety and environmental standards. Last week the FAA’s Center for Emerging Concepts and Innovation reviewed the project direction and authorized FAA resources to work with the Virgin Galactic team to begin to outline a certification framework during the pre-project guidance phase. Virgin Galactic believes that working together with regulators and industry leaders such as Rolls Royce and Boeing will support the mission to broaden and transform global travel technologies, with a focus on customer experience.
