"The big producers and the indermediate producers all recognize, in order for them to stay where they are, they cannot stay where they are by just developing their own assets. They have to go out and acquire other assets. It may be the acquisition of a large company, or it may be the acquisition of a particular project. As an industry we are not replacing, we are not finding, the ounces we are producing. Just to stay where you are you have to find the same number of ounces that you produce, in fact you have to find more because of wastage. If you produce 7 million ounces per year, you have to find 7 million ounces. That is as close as impossible as it comes into this world. As an industry we are simply not finding the number of ounces that we are producing. Therefore the only way for big companies producing 2,3,4,5 million ounces is to go out and buy those ounces, not to find them. So I think we are just going to get more and more and more of that as the gold price goes up."

- Agnico Eagle produced 1,782,147 ounces in 2019
- Cartier has a resource of 1,182,990 ounces within 100 and 58 km of mills of Agnico Eagle and that resource already has a 900m deep shaft which reduces initial CAPEX significantly
- Agnico Eagle is a 17% shareholder of Cartier
- David Smith (Agnico Eagle) said recently: "When we invest in a junior company (we had as much as $200m in that equity portfolio through a variety of junior mining investments), it is always 100% of the time because we intent to take that company over....if things work out the way we think they should work out."
Likely events:
- Cartier will likely grow their resource to 1.7 - 2.0 million ounces this year

Would Agnico Eagle rather open a high risk mine fueled by diesel way up North, or fund a 100 - 130k ounce per year production scenario at driving distance of their mines, with power and work force in place, near a mining town?

Eindelijk, big money beseft dat Cartier spotgoedkoop staat, getuige de grens van 30 cent wordt doorbroken en Chimomijn wordt waarschijnlijk afgesplitst en dan wordt het megaproject Benoist opgestart, mogelijks een Chimox3!!

Wow! Na lezen van bovenstaande ben ik overtuigd van megapotentieel van deze ondergewaardeerde parel
Eerst Chimomijnproject verkopen potentieel 1 CAD minstens waard, en dan de reuzeparel Benoist ontginnen en oppoetsen kan minstens nog eens 3 had in het laatje brengen!

Mensen, het is gebeurd de dam van 0.32 cad is doorbroken nu kan het geld in de Chimomijn lopen en dan komt Benoist aan de beurt maar eerst naar mininmum 1 cad.
