"The Toronto-based research company, which tracks EV registrations and battery chemistries in more than 80 countries says cobalt deployed per vehicle has gone from 2.1 kg in 2018 H1 to 3.1 kg in 2019 H1.

Strong battery electric vehicle sales relative to hybrids, plus the Chinese industry’s growing adoption of NCM cathode chemistries in place of lithium ion phosphate (LFP) was behind the increase says Adamas.

Overall in 2019 H1, 7,200 tonnes of battery-grade cobalt were deployed globally in batteries of all newly-sold passenger EVs combined, an increase of 81% over last year according to the report."

Laatste paar dagen grote volumes. Vorige week 30% hoger op een europese beurs. In CAD deze nacht 13 keer zoveel verhandeld dan dagelijks AVG, zowat hoogste volume sinds overname Ecobalt Solutions(Formation Metals/Formation Capital FCO). Er gaat iets aankomen!

Ja mannekes, ik had het gezegd hé, dag erna goed nieuwsbericht en verdere stijging rest van de week, mooie stijging afgelopen maand ondanks verdere zakking cobalt prijs.

"Jervois Mining increases contained Idaho Measured cobalt resource by 22%
HIGHLIGHTS
Updated Idaho Cobalt Operations (“ICO”) Mineral Resource Estimate (“MRE”), to improve geological certainty ahead of project financing and mine development, has increased the contained Measured cobalt resource by 22%. Total tonnage of Measured and Indicated resources (available for conversion under JORC into Reserves) also rose by 22%.
Jervois bankable feasible study (“BFS”) team has revisited and substantially modified stope design and mine plan execution versus the approach taken by prior ICO owners. This will increase mined cobalt grade and reduce dilution versus published historical studies.
Updated ICO MRE audited by CSA Global (an ERM Group Company) ahead of appointment of lender Independent Engineer associated with project financing.
BFS mine design is underway with an updated ICO Reserve estimate to be released in conjunction with BFS.
ICO BFS remains on track for completion by the end of March 2020, with first concentrate production scheduled in Q4 2021."

HIGHLIGHTS
• Workstreams of ICO Bankable Feasibility Study (“BFS”) in final stages; public release delayed due to Covid-19 outbreak

• Jervois received indicative financing proposals for ICO from selected lenders invited to tender; BFS economic outcomes will be provided to potential lender(s) shortly, with revised term sheets to finalise appointment

• RPM appointed as Independent Engineer to act on behalf of lender(s) for ICO debt financing, diligence well underway – site visit delayed due to Covid-19

• Jervois has also paused ICO remobilization, pre-construction and field exploration plans in light of Covid-19

• Jess Birtcher appointed Finance Manager for ICO

• Final results from 2019-20 drilling in Uganda continue to expand prospective areas – Ugandan exploration paused due to Covid-19

• Post Covid-19, Jervois restructures operational footprint, Director and Management fees
• Jervois’ strong cash position will allow it to finalise ICO BFS and maintain operational footprint for in excess of 12 months

• A$7.9 million cash as at 31 March 2020

Ze hebben deze nacht dik volume gehad ook rond 15% stijging weer! Heel content met pakketje dat ik bijgekocht had aan 0.14 cad! Het sentiment is goed!

Er zit toch blijkbaar wat leven in de laatste dagen en ook met wat meer volume. Benieuwd of er inderdaad eind september meer nieuws zal zijn betreffende de Bankable Feasibility Study . Nu nog de kobalt prijs omhoog en, we zijn misschien eindelijk klaar voor een nieuwe rit
