Endesa Foundation signed an agreement with the Vatican last year to supply lighting for this basilica, which has strong ties with Spain stretching back to the reign of Charles V.
Enel X has been responsible for restoration and adaptation of lighting, under the supervision of the Vatican City State Governorate’s Department of Technical Services.

Press release published by Fitch Ratings
Pursuant to Article 228 of the Spanish Securities Market Act, we hereby inform you that Fitch Ratings has published a press release dated 26 January 2018, in which upgrades Endesa’s Senior unsecured rating from “BBB+” to “A-”.
This rating action follows the upgrade of Spain’s Long-Term Foreign-Currency Issuer Default Rating (IDR) to “A-” from “BBB+”, announced last 19 January 2018.
Endesa’s Long-Term IDR rating is not affected and is maintained at “BBB+/Stable".

Endesa, through its renewable energies division, Enel Green Power España (EGPE), has signed the purchase of five wind farms in Galicia and Catalonia from Gestinver for €178 million (including debt repayments).
This deal brings Endesa’s renewable generation capacity to 1,806 MW in Spain, comprising 1,749 MW of wind power, 43 MW of small hydropower, and 14 MW of other renewable energy sources.
