Resultaten 1e kwartaal 2016:

Total revenues increased by 1% to Euro 31.8 billion
•Life & Savings APE up 16% to Euro 2.2 billion; net flows of Euro +3.0 billion
•Property & Casualty revenues up 3% to Euro 11.7 billion
•Asset Management net flows at Euro +10.2 billion

“In the first quarter of 2016, we increased sales in Property & Casualty, Protection & Health and Unit-Linked products, maintaining our selective business mix, proving again to be very well adapted to the current macroeconomic environment and the needs of our customers”, said Denis Duverne, Deputy Chief Executive Officer of AXA.
“Life & Savings’ new business sales increased significantly, with robust net flows of Euro 3.0 billion. Property & Casualty operations were particularly dynamic, with a strong growth in revenues and continued underwriting discipline. In Asset Management, we marked the fifteenth consecutive quarter of positive net flows.”
“The strength of our balance sheet is once again illustrated by the continued resilience of our Solvency II ratio, in the middle of our target range of 170-230%.”

PARIJS (AFN/BLOOMBERG) - De Franse verzekeraar Axa stopt met investeringen in tabaksproducenten en verkoopt voor 1,8 miljard euro aan bezittingen gerelateerd aan de tabaksindustrie. Dat maakte Axa maandag bekend.

Het gaat daarbij om 200 miljoen euro aan aandelen van tabaksbedrijven en 1,6 miljard euro aan bedrijfsleningen van producenten van sigaretten en andere rookwaar. Volgens de grootste verzekeraar van Frankrijk vormt roken het grootste gevaar voor de publieke gezondheid in de wereld.

Franse verzekeraar presenteert nieuwe strategische plannen. AXA wil de komende jaren de winst per aandeel gemiddeld met 3 tot 7 procent per jaar laten groeien. Dit maakte de Franse verzekeraar dinsdag in aanloop naar de investeerdersdag bekend met de presentatie van een nieuw strategisch plan voor de periode tot en met 2020. Verder wil AXA in 2020 de kosten voor belastingen met 2,1 miljard euro verminderen en in de periode 2016 tot 2020 liefst 28 miljard tot 32 miljard euro aan vrije kasstroom genereren. Het aangepaste rendement op het eigen vermogen moet in deze periode uitkomen op 12 tot 14 procent. AXA streeft verder naar een Solvency II-ratio van 170 tot 230 procent. Het aandeel AXA sloot maandag op een groene beurs in Parijs 4,2 procent hoger op 20,51 euro.

AXA shares given an average rating of 'buy' by Analysts

Shares of Axa SA (EPA:CS) have been given an average recommendation of “Buy” by the ten analysts that are covering the stock. One equities research analyst has rated the stock with a hold rating and nine have issued a buy rating on the company. The average 12 month price objective among brokers that have updated their coverage on the stock in the last year is €27.71 ($31.49).

Hoewel de markten na de brexit nog flink kunnen fluctueren de komende weken heb ik mijn positie in AXA deze morgen aanzienlijk uitgebreid aan een discount van 20%. En nu op naar de 27,71 euro. Thx UK !

AXA in zee met Chinese internetreus Alibaba.

Het Franse verzekeringsconcern AXA sluit een breed strategisch samenwerkingsakkoord met de Chinese internetgigant Alibaba. De kern van het akkoord is de distributie van producten van AXA via de e-commercekanalen van Alibaba.

Half Year 2016 Earnings

Resilient earnings despite headwinds

Total revenues stable at Euro 54 billion
Underlying earnings stable at Euro 3.1 billion
Adjusted earnings down 2% to Euro 3.4 billion
Net income up 4% to Euro 3.2 billion

'AXA België schrapt 850 jobs'

Dat heeft de directie volgens een vakbondsbron op een bijzondere ondernemingsraad meegedeeld.

Er stond maandagochtend om 09.30 uur bijzondere ondernemingsraden gepland bij verzekeraar AXA en de bankpoot AXA Bank. Volgens een vakbondsbron liet de directie weten er tegen 2020 850 jobs moeten verdwijnen.
